Luxury Experiences for Just 1,000 Yen - Three Recommended Lounges in Tokyo

With all the excitement of exploring a new country, it can become tiring, and you may appreciate finding an ideal area where you can take a break or sit down and chat. We will introduce three luxury hotel lounges where you can take a much appreciated pit stop!

1) Lounge and Dining G/Tokyo Marriott Hotel (Shinagawa)

This is located in Shinagawa, which not only a bullet train station but also easily accessible from Haneda airport.

Marriott hotels are generally aimed at corporate businesspeople. For this reason, there are numerous facilities for working, and more so compared to most other hotel chains.

One of the best things about lounge and dining G is that there are charger outlets by each chair, making it a convenient place to charge your electronic devices.

The hotel is also very spacious in both room size and height, with a ceiling height of about 20 meters. As the area is large, and can accommodate many, staying for a longer period of time is no issue. The lounges are also open until 12am. There are sure to be many businesspeople working here until late as well!

2) Andaz Tavern Lounge and bar/Andaz Tokyo (Toranomon)

This is located in Kasumigaseki near the parliamentary house. It is often known as a French kitchen and an ideal spot for taking a date, but it is also ideal for stopping off for catching up on work or having a brief meeting. A convenient aspect of this bar is that wifi can be accessed without a password or arduous registration to a website.

Another thing that makes it ideal for workers is the huge ice coffee available. In most cafes in Japan, you may find the sizes smaller than what you are used to, but this is certainly not the case here! There is also an outside terrace area to relax while guests can use their computers.

- WiFi: Available (no password required)
- Some charger outlets available

3) The French kitchen / Grand Hyatt Tokyo (Roppongi)

This is another ideal lounge to relax or catch up on work, located in the 51st floor with a panoramic view of the Tokyo metropolis. The luxury feel is enhanced by the building design and background music. Another bonus is that you can order up to two extra coffee refills for free.

As with the above lounge, Wifi is available without the requirement of a password which makes it all that more convenient. With a bar nearby, it makes it an ideal area to grab a cocktail after finishing work, particularly as the cocktails on offer are pretty tasty! It also makes it an ideal spot for dates and after work meetings.

- Address: 6-10-3 Roppongi, Minato-Ku, Tokyo 106-0032

You may feel that in such a densely populated area such as Tokyo, that it’s difficult to find a spacious haven in which to relax, but this article proves that this is not the case! We highly recommend taking a stop off from your travels in one of these lounges, hopefully adding a luxury sheen to your travels in Tokyo.
