Japan’s food became increasingly well known for more than just Sushi and Ramen, it has started to eclipse famous foodie destination like Italy and France. I will introduce 10 Japanese Must eat that you shouldn’t miss while visiting japan.

1) Sushi(寿司)

Sushi(寿司) has become the symbol the japanese cuisine, and you can find japanese restaurants all around the world. But trying sushi in japan is by far the most delicious place. You can try it from differentd proces. 2) Ramen(ラーメン)

It is a familiar dish to the ones who love japanese culinary, it represent the beauty and the culture of japanses cuisine.

3) Udon(うどん)

There is different types of Udon and the mist popular are :

・Cold Udon(冷うどん) : Uden is put in cpld water and then into bowl served with sauce and chopped scallions.
・Hot Udon(温うどん) : is served hot with udon noodles and broth (Kake udon) with thinly chopped scallions.
・Yaki Udon(焼うどん) : or Fried Udon, is fried with vegetables, sauce, and different ingredients.

4) Soba(蕎麦)

Soba noodles made from buckwheat, so you can have yellow colors, gray or green. Soba noodles are served either chilled with a dipping sauce, or in hot broth as a noodle soup.You can eat it with some toppings or Yakisoba (焼きそば:  fried soba) wich taste amazing. The tradition of eating soba arose in the Edo period(1603-1868). 

5) Yakiniku(焼肉)

Generally used for grilled meat in japan. You can choose your favorite meats and vegetables. Sometimes in Yakiniku buffer there are sushi udon, ramen, soba, and free drinks as well. The present style of yakiniku restaurants are derived from Korean restaurants in Osaka and Tokyo, which opened around 1945. 

6) Takoyaki(たこ焼き)

Japanese octopus cake. It's normally served with fried fish, Takoyaki Sauce and chopped green onion. You can make your own Takoyaki with Takoyaki machine, as you can but it in japanese restaurants. Takoyaki was first popularized in Osaka(大阪), where a street vendor named Tomekichi Endo is credited with its invention in 1935. 

7) Karaage(唐揚げ)

Japanese version of fried chiken Biting just a piece of Karaage, you can feel the crispness outside and doft, juicy and yummy chicken inside. The process involves lightly coating small pieces of the meat (or fish) with a seasoned wheat flour or potato starch mix, and frying in a light oil. Occasionally, the foods are marinated prior to coating with the seasoning mix. The process is similar in technique to the preparation of tempura.

8) Shabu-shabu(しゃぶしゃぶ)

Shabu-shabu is a Japanese nabemono hotpot dish of thinly sliced meat and vegetables boiled in water. The term is onomatopoeic, derived from the sound emitted when the ingredients are stirred in the cooking pot and served with dipping sauces. The food is cooked piece by piece by the diner at the table. Shabu-Shabu was introduced in Japan in the 20th century with the opening of the restaurant "Suehiro" in Osaka(大阪), where the name was invented.

9) Matcha(抹茶)

Is a healthy and delicious green tea powder Matcha is used in various products in japan especially in baking industry.

10) Mochi(餅)

Is a japanese rice cake wich is deliicious and cute.
